Everyone knows texting while doing anything other than well, standing still or sitting, can be hazardous to your health, but in one California neighborhood, a texter got a lot more than he bargained for when he looked up from his phone.
Los Angeles Station KTLA was following “Meatball”, a 400-pound black bear that’s been calling a La Crescenta, California, neighborhood his home for the past few weeks (apparently he stole frozen meatballs, etc out of a refrigerator last week)
Meatball had been able to elude wildlife officials so far. That is, until today.
Watch what happens.
Shortly after Meatball surprised the guy, he was contained by the California Department of Fish and Game and tranquilized.
But it’s ok, folks. He was released back into his own woodsy neighborhood where only the birds twitter their text.
