Big Brothers Big Sisters Wants to Grow in Newburgh and Warrick County

It’s a sad fact but there is no Big Brothers Big Sisters chapter in Warrick County.  It’s also a fact that there are children in Warrick County that could use the guidance of a Big Brother or Big Sister.  The problem?  Not enough funding.  With your help, that’s about to change!

On Saturday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 8 p.m., the Historic Newburgh Kiwanis Club will be holding a chili cook-off at the Newburgh American Legion post with the purpose of raising funds to start a new Big Brothers Big Sisters resource group in Warrick County.

You can help the kids in Warrick County who need Big Brothers and Big Sisters simply by being at the chili cook-off, making a monetary donation and voting for your favorites!  If your group or organization would like to be a participating team in the cook-off, call 812-430-6133.
